Local Windows tools: six everyday tasks
Keep copied text, documents, media and guides on your PC. Start with the task you need to finish.
I’m Omer, the independent developer behind these Windows apps. They process your content locally. Choose a task below to see its actual interface, free offer and practical guide.
CopySnip
Find something you copied
Search saved text and images, pin useful clips, or annotate a screenshot. History stays on your PC. Pause recording before copying sensitive information.
All clipboard and screenshot tools are free.
PDF Size Helper
Make a document fit an upload
Set a size requirement for a supported PDF or image, inspect the pages and save a separate copy. Your original stays available.
All PDF and image tools are free.
Network Clarity
Understand a connection problem
Read detected connection issues before changing settings. Connectivity tests contact network services; the scan snapshot is not uploaded to the publisher.
Quick Scan is free. Pro adds recommendations and eligible repairs with consent.
Media Compare & Organize
Review repeated photos and media
Compare duplicates or similar photos, then preview an organized destination. Scanning changes nothing; similarity needs review and does not prove two photos are identical.
Unlimited scans; separate free cleanup, organization and similar-photo preview limits.
Disklane
See where your storage is going
Explore folder sizes and file types before removing anything. Scanning is read-only; eligible cleanup requires review and confirmation.
Two completed real scans free in total; existing results remain viewable.
Stepfolio
Explain a workflow once
Capture steps, edit instructions and redact screenshots before sharing. This image shows a real guide preview, not an exported file.
Capture and editing stay free; other free users get two completed exports in total per Windows account. Original paid-version owners retain unlimited exports.
A result you can inspect
Our separate native demos show CopySnip restoring a sample clip and PDF Size Helper making a 680,848-byte copy from a 6,665,382-byte sample. The original remained unchanged. This is one tested result, not a promised compression ratio.
Local processing, with clear boundaries
Microsoft Store handles acquisition, licensing and purchases. Network Clarity runs network tests. Exported or cloud-synced files follow their destination’s handling; review sensitive content before sharing.
CopySnip and PDF Size Helper’s tools are fully free. The other four have separate free allowances and optional one-time Pro upgrades, with no subscriptions.
